Next to the Ghibellina Tower, we can find the Carmine Church, also known as the Church of Suffragio, as it is the property of the fraternity of the same name. It was built between 1715 and 1725 by Giulio Papetti, a lawyer of the Roman Curia. It is an interesting example of local architecture that combines Baroque and Neoclassical styles. This sacred building, originally used as a cemetery church, has the layout of a Latin cross with an octagonal copula and a bell tower built in 1847. It is very plain inside; only the architectural walls are decorative. In the four corners, we can find four small sacristies with vaulted ceilings. Over the main altar, a painting that depicts the Madonna of Carmine and saints is preserved. The xylographic Via Crucis is also noteworthy.
